Prayer Meetings

As C.H. Spurgeon once said, the prayer meeting is "the furnace of the church." Carrubbers is committed to developing a praying people who are continually and consciously expressing their dependence on God through prayer. Jesus said, "with Me you can do nothing" (John 15v5). Hence, our prayer meeting and Bible study on Tuesday nights (first, third and fifth of the month) lies at the heart of our corporate ministry. A short time of Bible teaching is followed by a time of prayer in groups for ourworld, our church and ourselves.  Our third Tuesday of the month is aways committed entirely to learning more about and praying for our various missioaries around the world and around the corner.
